Victorian Jewelery designs are very famous in our modern times. The basis of this fact is the versatility and uniqueness of the Victorian jewelery, which is not found in any other antique jewelery style. That is why the Victorian designs are copied today in the modern time jewelery, and sometimes the designs are newly mixed with the trendy jewelery of today. This gives a new look to the jewelery and the designs of Victorian jewelery are effectively utilized.
Sterling silver is used for the manufacture of new trendy jewelery, which is actually the inspiration taken from the Victorian jewelery. The ornaments which are commonly made and are enormously popular are earrings and pendants of different forms and styles. On the whole, they are the combination of traditional and modern jewelery.
Some of the Victorian inspired modern jewelery earrings are complimented with metalwork pattern. They are
sterling silver earrings which are handmade. The earring panels are also made from sterling silver, and are joined very delicately with the earring wires. They help the earring panels to sway freely. Some of the Victorian inspired earring designs show different forms of earring panels. Out of them, the most famous is the bent inward panel, which is famous due to its dazzling spark on movement.
Victorian type jewelery designs also utilize sterling silver for their manufacture. They also have metallic patterns due to which they look more beautiful and eye catching. Chains which are used to suspend the pendants are also made of sterling silver. At some instances, black silk thread is seen for suspension of the pendants; as it depends upon the need and requirement of different people. At times gold is also brought into play for additional decoration. An example is the leaves and flowers pendant where gold is crafted as ‘leaves and flowers’ on the pendant.
